A fact that sounds pretty ‘BS’ is that you can see Africa from Spain!
If you go to the Rock of Gibraltar (or the surrounding Spanish coast), you can look across the straight and see Morocco! It's interesting that that tiny stretch of water practically separates two different worlds, cultures, and continents.
I also find it interesting that very few people know that you can see Africa from Europe. I for one think that's kind of amazing!
